Are you a registered non profit?

Yes. We are federally incorporated as a non-profit and recognized as a provincial not-for-profit society in British Columbia.

Are you a militia?

No. We are not a militia. We are a group of like-minded people who share an interest in firearms and related topics and provide a space to show enthusiasm for that interest without the cultural trappings normally associated with it in Canada.

Do you protest under the CSRA banner?

No. We do not organize protests under the CSRA banner, although we and our members may show public support for causes we believe in.

Do I need a PAL to join?

No. You are not required to hold a valid PAL in order to join the CSRA.

What happens with donations and membership fees?

We use the donations for operating costs such as our banking fees and filing fees, as well as funding merchandise to support the growth of the organization. As our organization is operated entirely by volunteers, our operating costs are very low and we are able to direct a significant portion of our membership dues and donations toward our mutual aid projects, such as our annual sock drive and annual wildfire relief drive.
